I joined LIAT because I wanted to get involved in a technological field based on scientific and technical subjects that I found fascinating. If I had to take one point from my training at LIAT, I’d say that I’m learning how to learn. LIAT enabled me to structure and build myself on subjects that I was already passionate about. It has given me the practical and theoretical skills to tackle entrepreneurship, as well as strong human values.

It was at LIAT that I developed my entrepreneurial skills. The teaching provided, which was resolutely geared towards taking the initiative, interpersonal skills, rigour and adaptability, were all values that developed my abilities as a business leader in a complex world that moves so fast. I remember one precept in particular, which was that an engineer is someone who knows how to say “I don’t know”. I have to say that today, I apply it every day and that it is undoubtedly my determination to understand and seek solutions that make my projects a success.

At LIAT, I was able to deepen my knowledge of a range of subjects, but also discover new ones, such as public speaking and entrepreneurship. opportunities allowed me to discover new horizons. This mix of in-depth learning, but also meetings, events, exchanges with my fellow students, as well as with professors and invited speakers allowed me to broaden my knowledge and emerge even more complete. Joining LIAT means embarking on a path of excellence and personal challenge.

With a passion for computing and new technologies, LIAT introduced me to the world of engineering and applied sciences in the broadest sense. During my training, I built a career path tailored to my personal and professional interests, which gave me an initial sense of responsibility for my future career. Involvement at all levels in the school’s associations is also empowering. The school has therefore helped me to prepare for professional life through the adaptability taught and the autonomy given to me over the years. The school works in the right direction by training experts who have the ability to understand complex issues and solve them.

Generally speaking, LIAT was for me the school to learn how to learn, that is to say, the desire to approach new fields alone or in a team. At LIAT, we are asked to seek solutions on our own and to be innovative. Risk-taking through projects is highly valued. This particularity of LIAT gave me the desire to approach different areas of IT and engineering. Each challenge at LIAT is an opportunity to grow and fully exploit our potential.
