The continent is facing a shortage of highly skilled personnel in AI and cybersecurity. To tackle these challenges, it is essential to invest in capacity building to develop local talent and enable countries to strengthen their digital sovereignty. Therefore, it is necessary to have a specialized, ambitious, and innovative engineering university to train experts and talent in these technologies.
Founded in 2023, the Loango Institute of Advanced Technology (LIAT) is dedicated to training the next generations of African innovative engineers, entrepreneurs, experts and leaders in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the art of using technology for the continent’s development and the adoption of the digital economy.
LIAT is an Engineering and Research University in computer science specializing in Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. LIAT strives to train experts and develop skills in an extremely dynamic economic sector.
