LIAT is renowned for its dynamic student life and student association (LIAT Students Association – AEL), which is complemented by an impressive number of education committees, cultural committees, technical societies, clubs and many others.

The technical societies bring together true enthusiasts from all branches of engineering and applied sciences. Their common passion: completing projects with a view to taking part in national and international competitions. LIAT supports these students by providing them with funding, a venue and equipment to carry out their work.

Through its international engagement, LIAT aims to promote intellectual exchange, diversity, intercultural understanding and global cooperation. In line with its mission and values, LIAT wishes to offer its students enriching opportunities to develop their global perspective, broaden their academic horizons and contribute to solutions to global challenges.

In collaboration with the Office of Academic and Students Affairs, the AEL encourages initiatives, both serious and fun, that enable students to get involved in cultural, humanitarian, social or technical activities and to develop contacts with professionals.

These initiatives are grouped around the following key areas:

Business

Team Spirit

Communication

Community

The technical societies and clubs carry out a range of activities, including introductions to programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship and robotics, as well as projects and participation in competitions.
