LIAT provides a supportive environment for student success through the various support programs offered by the Office of the Academic and Students Affairs. All students are encouraged to be a member of the LIAT Students Association (AEL) as well as the various technical societies and clubs and to participate in the many activities that are organized.

The AEL is the pillar of student life at LIAT. It organizes student life on a daily basis, by promoting an inclusive, stimulating and collaborative environment,  fostering an inclusive, stimulating and collaborative environment where each student can flourish and realize their full potential. In addition, it is the interface between the administration and the students, ensuring that their voices and concerns are heard by LIAT management and leadership.

Through the technical societies and Clubs, students experiencing difficulties in computer science, programming, or other subjects benefit from academic support and advice. The Clubs also organize STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) sessions from elementary to high schools to encourage students to opt and embrace STEM curriculum while entering university.

The activities and events organized by the AEL play a crucial role in student life at LIAT. They offer students unique opportunities for learning, personal development and networking. These enriching experiences build essential skills, strengthen cohesion within the student community and create lasting memories. By actively participating in AEL activities, students develop their leadership skills, broaden their professional horizons and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive culture within LIAT.

By choosing to study at LIAT, you will have access to a wide range of services to support you throughout your studies and help you succeed academically, professionally and personally. An Orientation Day is organized at the beginning of each semester for new students.

The schedule for the Orientation Day includes all the activities, resources and services offered to guide and orient students newly admitted at LIAT. It’s an opportunity to take part in various welcome and integration activities designed to help you adapt to your new study environment and forge friendships with your new colleagues.
